Arcade File Works

Arcade File Works Arcade began in Sing Sing, New York, relocated to Anderson, Indiana around 1891, and was bought by Nicholson in 1900. Nicholson maintained a file factory in Anderson for the US market and continued selling files with the brand name Arcade until 1972. After shifting production from the Providence, RI plant to Anderson in 1959, Nicholson (Cooper) closed the Anderson plant August 31, 1978.
